Nikki Lopez

Nurse Practitioner at Kleiman Healthcare Services

Nikki Lopez, FNP-C

Before she ever wore a white coat, Nikki knew she wanted to work in spaces where people are seen and cared for without judgment. She began her career in 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio (one of the busiest hospitals in the region).

It wasn’t easy, but it taught her that being present, listening fully, and showing steady hands could change the way people experience healthcare.

Over the next 15 years, she worked in specialties that shaped how she approaches every patient today:

This broad clinical experience gave her more than just knowledge; it also provided her with valuable insights. It gave her perspective. She knows what it’s like to walk beside someone through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

As an African American nurse practitioner, Nikki brings not only clinical expertise but also a deep understanding of the cultural and systemic factors that can affect access to care. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. But what truly defines her work is how she shows up for her patients: with calm, care, and clarity!

She moved to Oregon in 2018 with her husband and soon became involved with her local community clinic. She also began working with veterans across Oregon and Washington, many of whom were facing addiction, homelessness, or both. That work remains close to her heart.

Today, Nikki provides care exclusively through video visits, walk-in visits, and telemedicine at Kleiman Healthcare Services. Whether it’s a check-in or a chronic condition that needs careful follow-up, she meets patients with medical care that feels clear, grounded, and personal.
